Coatings

The Alcan Composites coil-coating line, strategically located at the manufacturing facility in the heartland of America, offers the widest range of finishes and coatings available in the industry. More importantly, Alucobond Material is known for its color consistency. Paint finish technicians constantly monitor the system as aluminum is finished with the finest architectural coatings available, utilizing a reverse roller application process. Coatings include the full range of finishes from 70% PVDF in both metallic and non-metallic to polyester.

PVDF-2 Coat Finish

Series A represents the most popular Alucobond Material colors and finishes – all in readily available sizes. The Series A finishes provide a contemporary appearance for many of the 50,000 buildings throughout the world upon which Alucobond Material is utilized.

For the best color consistency in metallic and mica paint finishes, consider and maintain panel directionality during estimating, fabrication and erection. It is advisable to order metallic and mica paint finishes at one time and in on width.

Series B finishes offer the rich colors and gloss that are readily identified as Alucobond Material.
